Mike Huckabee & Natalie Portman

Mike Huckabee has criticized Natalie Portman for having a child out -of-wedlock. That's an unwise stone to throw, Governor. Let's explain it in terms that Mike Huckabee might appreciate­.

Genesis states that Judah, the 4th son of Jacob. had extra-mari­tal sex with Tamar. From that union came the twins Peretz and Zerah. (Genesis 38:1-30) The Book of Ruth states that Peretz was an ancestor of King David. The Gospels, Acts of the Apostles and Pauline epistles refer to Jesus of Nazareth as a descendant of David.

So, If Huckabee is casting aspersions on (the Israelite) Natalie Portman and her unborn child, isn't he by analogy also casting aspersions on the Davidic line? Shame on you, Mike Huckabee! That sounds like blasphemy!
