Last Night's Cacciatore

The Bing ad about being "scroogled" by Google did not persuade me to use Bing. It did persuade me, however, to cook chicken cacciatore over angel hair. Thank you, Microsoft!

Sunday Breakfast

I took leftover rice and mixed it with sautéed sliced onion, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Two beaten eggs were poured over it and it was heated untouched in a small cast iron pan on the stove until the edges were set. Then, I  baked the omelette in a 350° F oven for 10 minutes. 

Sides were rye toast with blueberry spread; and Greek yogurt with fresh blueberries and honey. Coffee on the side.

Gedempte Brisket Tailgate

Saturday night, Dec. 8th, is the first night of Hanukkah 5773. So, on Sunday, we'll tailgate at FedEx Field in Landover, MD, on this gedempte brisket I made and the potato latkes our friends are making.
