Last Night's Cacciatore
The Bing ad about being "scroogled" by Google did not persuade me to use Bing. It did persuade me, however, to cook chicken cacciatore over angel hair. Thank you, Microsoft!

Tuna Sauce
We brought some dried spaghetti back from our last trip to Italy -- Pasta Di Semola Di Grano Duro. I made tuna sauce to go over it.I sautéed sliced yellow onion in olive oil, threw in tomato purée with salt a freshly ground black pepper, then mixed in canned tuna. The tuna was water-packed, but I wish I had olive oil-packed. I also wish I had capers. I splashed in some pasta water, too, then the pasta, and mixed in some grated parmigiano cheese and splashed a few dropped of olive oil on top. Delicious.

Pasta With Sardines
We brought some spaghettini back from Italy. I cooked it in salted water, the drained it, saving some pasta water for the sauce.I put the same pot over the heat and added a little olive oil. I threw in chopped anchovies, browned them a little, then threw in some minced garlic. The garlic cooked 30 seconds, then I poured in pasta water to deglaze, followed by sardine chunks, some pepper flakes, and the cooked pasta.
I tossed it to mix and reheat and put it in a pasta dish. I topped it with toasted bread crumbs. Mmm!
